SMRT hate people in woodlands?

SMRT hate people in woodlands?

Or at least I felt that way.. It's really intriguing what SMRT did that prompts this conclusion.

Firstly, the weekdays trip fom marina bay to yishun has been in service for years. In one of the conference, when asked, is it possible to extend the service to woodlands, since there is a cross platform and a third rail track capable of what SMRT had doing in yishun. The answer was: woodlands ridership is not as extensive as yishun and thru computer simulation, it's best to terminate it at yishun. 3 stops short from woodlands.

Then recently, along with the re opening of the new platform in the evening peak period, two moves were made.
Firstly, train shuttle service from jurong east to yew tee is extended in terms of timings and location. It has now been extended to marsiling from existing 5:30-6:30 to 5-8

This move has seriously astonished me. It again fall short of one station from woodlands, a busy hub for the north landers with a busy shopping center and a integrated transport hub.

Secondly, the ever crowded and popular cross bound trains from amk (or marina bay for the last cross bound train) to pasir ris, via jurong east has been formally removed. It is cited to improve the train service for people along the joo koon to boon lay area.

Personally, I live in the north. And this cross bound train, even though crowded without fail, is a critical transport for many along the north sector. It helps accurately estimate of our time of arrival. This is especially so for many alighting in clementi and Dover station, saving precious 2-5 minutes waiting for another train's arrival at jurong east platform.

With the removal of cross bound trains, it has enhance lives of people living near joo koon and ruin lives of people living in the north... Sarcastically, I wonder is that what SMRT's motto meant? "moving people(from north to south) e, enhancing (other than the north's) lives"?

Currently, all I hope and request that SMRT would consider the "revival" of the cross bound trains as it is a really powerful too to bring an connect people from woodlands or yishun to the ewl punctually and accurately.

This can soon be extended to the extension of the shuttle trains to woodlands, in line with the new TSL pending to by 2018.

I'm busy as hell :)

I'm currently working as a service crew, or so they called it, at TCC- anchorpoint and I had a good time working there...
Knowing some of the best people I know :)

I'm also rushing thru projects and projects... Having no life at all...

Well... I'm being honest to myself okays~

So my new yer... How did I spent it?

Quite a sad story actually...

I spent it at marina bay sands with Suki.. Andy(not on new year sharp), Ming Hsun and Freddy ... O ya and two of suki's brother (twin)

Haha..... We were standing up to see the fireworks

Then we met up with Andy, mark and two others and we go makan supper...

Let's Juz rewind 2 hrs back...
I met up with Suki and raffles place... To walk up to MBS.. Thinking that there will be road block...
So we walk and walk and bear helix bridge... It's closed.. _|_
So we took the long way inside MBS and chop seats

Now back to aft new year...

We decided to walk from MBS to Lao ba sha... Making a big loop thru the Singapore river and to Lau ba sha at ard 2AM

Makan till 3 AM...
We walked to the road to take a taxi.

GUESS WHAT? NO TAXI!

Ok... Nvm...
So from there we walked down the road hoping for some signs of taxi.

None again... We walked and walked our way to tanjong pagar.
Tired. We sat by the road side for 15 min or so.

All cans were wither busy or hired...
Worst! On call...
We then tried calling all cab
And none were successful...
Fufufuuuuuu

Then surprisingly... A cab , hired, drop a passenger directly in front of us...

JACKPOT! So Suki, Andy and twins board that taxi...
Leaving the other 4 of us going towards the west and me.. North.

We continued to 守株待兔with no veil

So we walked down the street all the way to china town... Thirty mins later...
Finally.. At 4:20 a cab drop off a passenger... Initially refusing to take us in

Initially we negotiated and finally et on...

By the time I reached home... It's 5hours off new year...
And the next 12 hours were spent sleeping and doing my assignments...

Isn't my new year amazing?!

our holidays began at start of june, three weeks, one week more than our "enermy" schools, haha.. harsh words to use arh~
yup.. other polytechnics only had 2 weeks.. but we had three...

hehe :)

but this extra one week comes with a price to pay..
yup :(
with this one week, we have to push back our exam to after holidays..
making our holidays effectively a study break.. a long 3 weeks study break.

to make matters worst, we had submission in the holidays..
ya.. assignments!

1. What time does training ends
Well, all session will end late. We will always start at either 9am or 10 am, and end at 9pm (sometimes 10)
So, if you are free, please just come and help!
That is unless there is an important briefing or event on that day! Which is compulsory

2. I cannot come on XX DAY
Please simply SMS me, email me your full reason at least 12 hrs before.

3. If I never come for training, can I come for actual camp.
This is a little bit complicated.
I really hope everyone comes for the training, because this training will help us prepare for the actual camp. But that aside, we are still desperately in need of ppl. Please just come down when you are free.

4. What are we going to do in these training.
Bonding exercises, props making, games trail and so much more, and to be done by 1 and half week!

5. Can seniors come?
YES!
If you are crashing for the camp, please contact Joseph first. Insurance need to be brought.

Chilly Tuesday morning

So as most of u might know, it's snowing at my place
Okay exaggeration much.

It's raining heavily early in the morning

And today, for me, Is am early day. 8:30 class. That means that I'll have to wake up ar 6:30-7

O ya, did I forget to mentioned that my iPhone is handicap now?
It's silent button is not working well

So in lessons it will definitely start ringing
Even if I "silent" it
So the only choice I had is put my iPhone volume to the bare minimum.

Okay so back to my day
At 6:30. Rain were falling down like tigers and Scooby doo
And the only thing in your mind is sleep

Next, my alarm is so fucking low volume because I turned it down the day before
Lastly my last barrier, the maid.
She just simply come to the room
And like touching my leg and shakes me up
Then exit the room and not come back to check.

All the sequence of event led to me staying in bed till 10 am plus plus plus
When my grand pa comes up and ask what time is your school?
Yup
My class starts at 8:30 and I'm still in bed at 10

I rushed up
Shower
And left home
Now I'm on mrt getting to school for accounts lesson.

Sunday lunch out

Went out for lunch today
Woke up bloody early at 10:30 ( I know it's late for some ppl
But for me, I norm slp till 1 pm on weekends!!!)

So we went down to china town
It's like a Chinese dim sum restaurant with some delicious stem stuffs

And I forget what name it is, sth like spring court I think

Anyway we ate a fair bit of stuffs like Siew Mai and Chee chong fan

(super sry I totally forget to take pics)

Okay so after the food
I went with my dad to starhub

Hi all
Sothis is a rewrite on my Wednesday

So my day, as typical day started with a drag... To school
Today, I net Kevin to school
Haha
He said he will be late so I kindly waited for him
Outside at the gate
I thought we 'll miss the 7:04 train
So I was like okay~
bur the train came late and when I hot a call from Kevin, he's at the train platform at 7:05 am
And eventually we really missed the train. Because I was waiting at the Gate and not at the platform
FML
we took the7:15 train and reached school on time
XD

So in school we has many boring lesson such as onow
We decided that the proj for ca 2 we will be doing as a class
So I'm the assistant for the event
Hehe

Run comes pacc
And there goes an early dismissal
It was like 11:30?
Anyway today, our class has this sex talk or the Aids talk
It was at 3:15

So for some of my click
They for not have gems
So they wanted to hangout

For me, I'm kinda sick of my gems module
So I pwn class and joined them

So we were like indecisive on where to go and so

To the extend that we are still wondering where we should go even when we were on the train

Eventually I suggested to go to sakae sushi to have the lunch buffet

And that's where we went :)))

So After we ate the buffet, we went for a few walks at some shop

Okay so
Week two started of with an angry and frustration
A uneventful ending to my seemly perfect Sunday
Nvm
Push that behind me

I dun wan u to be disgusted by the story

So here goes
On Monday morning, I woke up in bed thinking if I should made a trip
Down to collect and learn how to wear a contact lens

But when I reached for my paper, I found out that they only opened at 11am
I'm bounded to be freaking late, in fact missing one of my lesson
Which I cannot afford to...

So I went to school gloomy and ate kfc porridge
Then to school
At night, I went out with Suki and see Andy work for the very first time!!!
Weeeee!!!!!!
Then we ate sushi for $150
Expensive siol!!!!

Then after the meal I sent Suki home
Then I went home to bath and sleep

Today morning I woke up at 8:30
My lesson starts at 8:30
Nice huh???
Anyways
No other method, gonna chiong to sch
Reached school at 10 am
Not bad alrdy I would say~

Then good thing is that rye thai students are inside :))))

Then lesson ended at 10:30
I only went for half an hour lesson

Then at night I went for ADD meeting

So this cuties from Thailand came here to Singapore and I would say I'm honored to bring them around!

Yesterday, I brought them down the city area and showed them as Many things as possible and let them enjoy themselves

We started off by dropping them at bugis at iluma where we grant them a two hours free and easy time

Meanwhile we( chris yc and Ian ) go arcade and play :)))

We go sit down at subway and try looking down the shopping centre to locate then from time to time

We are like worried parents

Hope that u liked the surprise and lying that ur wife and i planned out...

well. for those who duno what happened ... here's what happen~
it was [ignoring the planning] this morning that i got to school at [by] 11 AM, with a Cake by 10:30
it's a doremon chocolate CREAM cake. haha... ;))

anyways, i was there first then Andy reached second... [heng, i'm not exposed~] and suki behind him... (...)
so... as i saw Andy, i immediately siam to a deserted place to hide... then CALLED up Suki,the late gal~ -.-

so we met again at fc 5 with suki, and Andy waiting paitently at FC 4...
then suki brought a cup noodle (to replace the birthday noodle, similar to the tradition)

then, suki go down to fc 4 and start talking [and lying to andy] ;)))))

then while they were in the middle of the chat, i brought in the cake [with difficulty of making it fully lit]
Then, i sang the Bday song and "Ta-Dang!"

Actually, his face was classic. totally stunned and was like, "SUKI, you lied to me!" kindda expression (wait, that's what he said o.0)

anyways, we continue to chat and he cut the cake and blah blah blah

haha...
